These are sterile cotton gauze swabs that are 16-ply and 100mm x 100mm. They are made from highly absorbent bleached 100% cotton gauze fabric and are used for cleaning wounds, absorbing exudates, and primary cover over low to medium exuding wounds. They are also used for prepping incision area before surgery. The swabs are 100% bleached cotton, have a minimal linting design, and are X-ray detectable. They have superior air permeability and are softer compared to traditional gauze. The swabs are manufactured using an automated process.
